One of my top clients is looking to hire VERY QUICKLY! This stellar client with is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a D365 or other Microsoft Dynamics implementation, but other ERP implementation experience is also acceptable. Stellar written and verbal communication skills are required. This is a waterfall-focused role with a PMP certification required.





Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Contract)


Duration: 6-12 months


Start Date: ASAP


Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in Eastern or Central Time Zones)


Status: Non-Exempt


Interview Process: Multi-stage interview with internal stakeholders


Travel: Minimal expected; travel time and expenses reimbursed per company policy

Role Overview


We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead enterprise-level software implementation projects. This role will cover a leave of absence beginning in October and extend through at least April, with additional project work available to support a full 12-month engagement. The PM will initially focus on implementation efforts and may transition into managed services projects such as upgrades, integrations, and service redesigns.



Responsibilities


Manage multiple concurrent enterprise software projects


Lead implementation cycles and coordinate cross-functional teams


Develop and maintain project plans using SmartSheet and MS Project


Provide regular status updates and escalate issues as needed


Serve as the structured leader for clients with less formal project environments


Collaborate with outsourced development teams


Engage with both new and existing clients to support integrations, upgrades, and redesigns


Build trust and credibility with client stakeholders



Requirements


PMP certification (CAPM or PMI also acceptable)


5-10+ years of experience managing large-scale enterprise software implementations


Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly valued


Strong command of SmartSheet, MS Project, and Microsoft Office tools


Background in finance/accounting is a plus


Deep understanding of project management phases, tools, and techniques


Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations


Excellent communication skills and senior-level presence


Ability to quickly learn business context and build strong client relationships
