job summary:

This highly technical Level 4 Application Analyst role is essential for modernizing and securing the integration layers that support the core Life and Annuity Policy Administration systems, including LitePro. The analyst will focus on retiring legacy technologies, embedding security-first development practices, and actively developing high-performance integration services using .NET and Azure tools. This position is a critical step in building the organization's internal FTE Integration team.

responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Modernization & Infrastructure Migration

  • Legacy Retirement: Actively drive technical work to migrate applications and services from outdated platforms, specifically transitioning from Windows Server 2012 to current Windows Server environments.
  • API Gateway Transition: Execute the migration of on-premises API gateways (e.g., API Connect) to the modern APIM platform, ensuring integrated services are accurately configured and secured in the new architecture.
  • Technology Currentness: Ensure integration solutions align with and leverage current corporate IT standards and cloud best practices.
2. Secure Development & Integration Delivery
  • Integration Development: Design, build, and deploy new, efficient integration services and APIs using .NET (C#) to seamlessly connect core systems like LitePro and the Mainframe (ADD) with various internal and external applications.
  • Application Security: Proactively ensure the security of integration layers by utilizing security scanning tools (e.g., Veracode) to analyze vulnerabilities and implement timely remediation efforts.
  • Full Ownership: Assume end-to-end ownership of the integration layer, managing components from development and testing through to production deployment and maintenance.
  • SLO/SLA Management: Implement and maintain robust monitoring and logging to guarantee that all integrations meet defined performance and availability SLOs/SLAs.
