Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in La Mirada, California. In this role, you will provide hands-on support for various IT remediation tasks, network setups, and hardware installations. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who excels in small IT environments and can independently manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute onsite remediation tasks, ensuring project milestones are met effectively.
Oversee the rollout process, including gathering requirements, obtaining approvals, and guiding implementation.
Serve as onsite support for assigned tasks, such as documenting environments and capturing necessary details.
Assist with hardware installations, including rack and stack, network segmentation, and Windows Server upgrades.
Install and configure devices such as access points, workstations, and other hardware in alignment with project needs.
Manage network setups, including server room configuration, workstation deployment, and printer configuration.
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support to resolve technical issues and ensure system reliability.
Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise-level tools to support business operations.
Contribute to cybersecurity remediation efforts by addressing identified vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of IT projects.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT remediation projects and providing Level 2/3 support.
Proficient in setting up networks, configuring workstations, and managing server room rack and stack.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related enterprise-level tools.
Hands-on experience with hardware installation, including access points, printers, and warehouse equipment.
Familiarity with cybersecurity remediation tasks and best practices.
Ability to work independently in a small IT environment with minimal supervision.
Experience with Mobile Device Management, Windows Intune, and MFA solutions.
Expertise in network cabling and ensuring reliable network connectivity.
