Position Summary
Seeking a Platform Engineer (PE) to deploy, maintain, and optimize a hybrid cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will:

Possess deep expertise in Kubernetes administration and cloud-native application support
-
Have strong experience with Linux systems and scripting/programming
-
Work directly with clients to troubleshoot issues and advise on cloud workload transitions
-
Support infrastructure modernization efforts focused on automation and scalability
-
Contribute to implementation of emerging cloud-based technologies, including virtualization and AI
Required Skills
-
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster administration and application lifecycle management
-
Deep knowledge of container technologies: Docker, container runtimes, orchestration patterns
-
Proficient with GitLab and version control workflows
-
Strong background in Linux systems (preferably RedHat-based)
-
Proficient in programming/scripting languages: Python, Go, Bash, etc.
-
Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and frameworks (security, monitoring, CI/CD, infrastructure automation)
-
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to support developers and adapt to evolving needs

Extensive experience troubleshooting container-based issues
-
Ability to work collaboratively with program teams and communicate/implement best practices
-
Security Certification: Security+ or CISSP

Experience deploying and configuring:

Kubernetes clusters

File/block storage solutions

S3-compatible storage

Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-a-Service tools such as HashiCorp Terraform

Experience with Configuration Management (CM) automation tools:

Proficiency in Windows and Red Hat Linux/Unix environments

Red Hat Certified System Engineer (RHCSE) or equivalent

5+ years' experience as a Linux system engineer/admin

Ability to write and deploy Linux/Unix scripts for system administration and file management

Experience configuring, securing, managing, and troubleshooting Linux/Unix systems

Familiarity with:

Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

SSH configuration/troubleshooting

SSSD, HTTPD

Experience deploying enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana)

Advanced technical writing skills: Able to clearly articulate solutions to both executive and technical stakeholders
