SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
ASSESS CURRENT VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION INTERNAL BUSINESS PROCESSES TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES TO STREAMLINE AND IMPROVE SERVICES. THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION. AN AVERAGE OF 10 HOURS PER WEEK.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consulting and project management services to identify and implement business process improvements for Vocational Rehabilitation services.

Assess Needs
Perform data analysis to identify agency needs and priorities.
Conduct staff surveys to identify gaps in processes, inefficiencies, and needs.
Hold consultation hours with staff to assess current Vocational Rehabilitation processes.
Recommend Process Improvements
Utilize strong knowledge of applicable federal regulations for Vocational Rehabilitation to make actionable recommendations for process improvements, including prioritizing changes and identifying necessary new or revised documentation.
Assess potential impacts and risks of recommended process changes.
Draft a final assessment and recommendations report.
Implement Process Improvements
Provide project management services to develop a timeline, implementation plan, and communication plan.
Coordinate with administration teams on documentation revisions.
With staff, implement lean process strategies to streamline business processes and improve services.
Provide support and training to staff during implementation of process changes/improvements.
