Position: Trade Floor Support Bloomberg TOMS
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid 4 onsite, 1 remote)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $65 $68/hr
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Floor Support Analyst with deep expertise in Bloomberg TOMS to join a dynamic front-office environment. This role supports Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) trading desks and plays a critical part in ensuring the stability and performance of real-time trading systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day application and technical support for the FICC Credit Trading Desk, with a focus on Bloomberg TOMS.
Act as the primary contact for front-office users to troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.
Work closely with development, infrastructure, and global support teams to address incidents and implement resolutions.
Conduct root cause analysis and drive long-term fixes through problem management processes.
Monitor application health and ensure stability in a time-sensitive trading floor environment.
Contribute to release management, testing, and change control processes.
Maintain and enhance documentation and support runbooks.
Provide after-hours/on-call support on a rotational basis.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of application support experience within investment banking or global markets, particularly supporting front-office users.
Hands-on expertise in Bloomberg TOMS, including configuration, reporting, data pooling, and issue resolution.
Strong knowledge of FICC products, ideally with a focus on fixed income and credit trading.
Proven ability to work under pressure in fast-paced trading environments.
Solid technical background with familiarity in Unix/Linux environments.
Experience with scripting (Python, Shell) and SQL is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage directly with traders and global stakeholders.
Preferred Background:
Prior experience supporting trading operations physically on a trading floor.
Exposure to job scheduling tools and production monitoring frameworks.
