Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems. Develop secure high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Facilitate evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. Promote communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies. Streamline the application specifications into the simplest elements and translate the business logic into a programming language. Develop in Full Stack. Develop and design process flows. Use control systems to store and update the software application code.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered. or as Software Engineer, Appway developer, Java Developer, Spring Boot Architect, IT Project Manager, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered. or as Software Engineer, Appway developer, Java Developer, Spring Boot Architect, IT Project Manager, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Analyzing, designing, architecting, developing, testing and deploying projects using Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, Jenkins, Jules, GIT and Bitbucket; Data modeling; developing conceptual data models by identifying system entity relationships; Participating in end-to-end SDLC applications; designing, coding, and implementing user interfaces using Appway and Angular 2/5/9, HTML5, and CSS3; creating BPM workflows, and designing screens and integration with sub components of the system in the Banking Financial Services industry; Utilizing test-driven development and agile methodology principles; Deploying applications into cloud platforms.
