Position Title and Location:

SAP Business One System Analyst (McMinnville/Hillsboro, OR)


Position Summary:

Applied Physics Technologies is hiring a full-time SAP Business One System Analyst. We are looking for an experienced SAP B1 user with relevant business experience either in logistics, sales, or finance. This position will act as a bridge between the technical solutions and business requirements. Your role will be maintaining the system, creating reports, and dashboards required by users. You will need to define the requirements with users, process the request with our SAP B1 IT consultants, review and validate the data in our test database and then implement the changes in the live system. This is a unique opportunity as you will oversee almost all data item master, bill of materials and routings, connections between individual modules such as purchase orders, MRP, work orders, sales orders, shipping, material and usage variances, inventory reports, etc.

Tasks:

  • Learn and document processes in the system through validation of current SOPs.
  • Maintaining the system daily; help users with transactions.
  • Communicate with IT support team and manage open tickets.
  • Create reports and dashboards.
  • Implement new user requirements in SAP B1.
  • Propose improvements to the current system, identify problems and inefficiencies.
  • Onboarding new users to key functionalities and guiding current users through new features.


Requirements:

  • Experience with SAP B1 or SAP Hana is a must.
  • Previous experience with system implementation or administration.
  • High integrity and dependability.
  • Ability to communicate with system users and IT consultants.
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI or other reporting tools.
  • Ability to present data to extended management.
  • Thoroughness, diligence, and a self-reliant personality.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 5+ years of business experience
  • Experience with inventory reporting, sales or purchasing transactions.
  • Project management skills.
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to educate new and current users.
