World Wide Technology is looking for a Automation Engineer. This job is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners.

Job Title: Automation Engineer
Duration: 1 Years
Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $60/hr. to $70/hr. hourly Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.

Job Summary: As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions to streamline the infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and implement effective solutions. Your expertise with Python Scripting and Power BI will be essential in driving our automation & BI initiatives forward. Any experience with PhP/Laravel and MongoDB is Highly Desired.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in Python and Power BI to develop robust network automation solutions.
  • Set up automated data refresh processes to ensure up-to-date information in the dashboards.
  • Develop and implement intent-based automation solutions to ensure consistency and reliability in our infrastructure.
  • Design and develop interactive PowerBI dashboards that effectively showcase data insights.
  • Utilize PowerBI's capabilities to create engaging data visualizations, charts, and graphs.
  • Leverage your network development experience to enhance automation capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary optimizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working as an Automation Engineer or a similar role.
