Job Title: Elasticsearch Administrator Location: New York, NY (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Elasticsearch Administrator to join our infrastructure team in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing Elasticsearch clusters along with expertise in Linux/Windows OS, cloud environments (AWS), containerization (Kubernetes), and automation tools. This role plays a critical part in maintaining system availability, performance, and security within a highly dynamic and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Elasticsearch clusters for performance, scalability, and availability.

Implement and manage operating systems (RHEL and Windows) in a production environment.

Manage and support Kubernetes clusters and container platforms.

Perform vulnerability patch management across all managed systems.

Automate routine operational tasks using Shell scripting, Ansible, and Python.

Use ServiceNow (SNOW) for change management and incident tracking.

Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Geneos.

Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to enforce best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Elasticsearch and infrastructure services.

Required Skills & Experience:
Strong expertise in Elasticsearch cluster setup, tuning, and administration.

Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments.

Experience working in AWS cloud environments.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms (e.g., OpenShift, Docker).

Solid understanding of vulnerability and patch management processes.

Experience automating tasks with Shell scripting, Ansible, and Python.

Working knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW) for change and incident management.

Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Geneos.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
