Classification Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and three years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Job Description:
Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support undergraduate and career services initiatives.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with department heads and faculty to identify data-driven solutions to improve student outcomes and career services
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present findings to inform strategic decision-making.
Provide training and support to departmental staff on data analysis tools and techniques.
Performing additional tasks in support of the college's mission as assigned by supervisor.
Expected Salary:
Commensurate with experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a higher education setting.
Preferred:
- Experience with educational data, particularly in business education.
- Knowledge of career services metrics and best practices.
- Experience with data mining and predictive analytics
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with student information systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft) is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques and best practices.
