ComTec is seeking a highly skilled Senior Maximo MAS 8/9 Administrator to lead the administration, configuration, and support of IBM Maximo Manage and related MAS applications.

Job Skills:

• 5+ years of experience supporting Maximo environments and infrastructure with strong exposure to MAS 8/9 environments.
• Experience with Maximo Installations, upgrades, and patch deployments.
• In-depth knowledge of Maximo configuration, EAM principles, and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience with code migrations.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes for cloud-native MAS deployments (preferred).
• Proficiency in automation scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and integration tooling.
• Deep understanding of WebSphere Architecture, WebSphere Clustering (Vertical and Horizontal), Performance tuning and JMS Cluster Configuration for High Availability (HA) Architecture.
• Good Understanding UNIX/Linux Operating systems, Services and Scripting.
• Working knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and system monitoring tools.
• Good to have experience with Maximo upgrades or cloud migration projects
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Working knowledge of enterprise asset and work management processes
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, facilitation, and coordination skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer and configure Maximo Manage and other MAS 8/9 applications to support operational and business requirements.
• Manage Maximo environments and support Maximo infrastructure.
• Manage user access, roles, security groups, and overall access controls.
• Support integration efforts with ERP, IoT, and GIS systems using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
• Design, implement, and maintain workflows, escalations, and automation scripts (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and apply updates and patches as needed.
• Install, configure, administer and support WebSphere Application Server.
• Assist in improving the System performance and Maximo Application troubleshooting.
• Provision applications and manage MAS 9 deployments in collaboration with DevOps or IT infrastructure teams.
• Develop automation Scripts for Integration.
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to deliver system configuration changes and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Organize, and prioritize multiple support requests at the same time.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation and ensure adherence to IT compliance and security policies.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for technical issues.
