The Manhattan Active Configuration Specialist is responsible for configuring, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions. This role requires strong supply chain domain experience, particularly with Manhattan WMS, and involves working in an agile environment to develop software solutions that meet client needs. The specialist will also engage in integration meetings and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

7+ years of experience in Software with at least 2 years in the lead role.
3+ years of experIence in testing Manhattan Active WMS or similar WMS platforms.
Experience with cloud-based WMS platforms and SaaS testing strategies.
Experience in interface testing and supply chain systems understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
Experience with interface testing (REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, Postman).
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and basic automation.
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
Strong knowledge of automation frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead distributed teams and manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Agile/Scrum experience with participation in sprint planning and retrospectives.
Experience with cloud-based WMS deployments.
Exposure to Manhattan Integration Framework (MIF).
Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle.
Key responsibilities
Define and implement the overall QA strategy for Manhattan Active WMS and its interfaces.
Establish quality benchmarks and KPIs for testing activities.
Lead the execution of functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Ensure comprehensive QA coverage across all WMS modules (receiving, inventory, picking, shipping, etc.).
Oversee testing of interfaces between WMS, CMS, Worldlink, Autostore, PackSize, SLAM, and Numina.
Manage and mentor QA analysts.
Assign tasks, review work, and provide feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
Work with analysts, developers, project managers, and operations teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
Generate QA metrics and dashboards for leadership reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and tools.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements based on functional and technical specifications.
Develop comprehensive test plans for Manhattan Active WMS modules and interfaces.
Validate data flows across systems including APIs, message queues.
Validate WMS configurations.
Collaborate with developers and QA leads to ensure system usability and stability.
Support performance and load testing using tools like JIRA.
Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
Utilize test automation tools where applicable (e.g., Katalon, Postman).
Support performance and load testing using tools and frameworks.
Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and analysts in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
