Job Title: IRM Engineer

Location: New York City (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months


Job Description:

We are seeking highly skilled IRM Engineers with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) to join our team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow configurations, scripting, integrations, and workflows, along with a solid background in risk management, governance, and compliance. This role involves working in a collaborative hybrid environment, supporting enterprise risk and compliance solutions while leveraging cutting-edge technologies.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow IRM/GRC applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

  • Build and maintain workflows, integrations, ACLs, UI policies, and CMDB configurations in ServiceNow.

  • Develop and execute scripts, utilities, and customizations using JavaScript, Jelly, Angular JS, and related technologies.

  • Implement and optimize IRM processes in line with industry best practices and trends.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile/SAFe environment.

  • Provide technical expertise, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvements within ServiceNow IRM.

  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.

  • Stay current with emerging IRM/GRC trends and recommend enhancements or new features.



Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of overall software development experience.

  • 3+ years of ServiceNow hands-on experience, including Integrated Risk Management (IRM) components.

  • Strong background in ServiceNow configurations, scripting, workflows, integrations, and CMDB management.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Restful APIs, XML, Jelly scripting, Angular JS, and related technologies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions to diverse audiences.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Understanding of GRC/IRM concepts and industry trends.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.

  • 5+ years working in Agile methodologies, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

  • Prior technical experience in systems analysis/programming.

  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform cloud environment.

  • Experience in building/executing JavaScript utilities.

  • Conceptual architecture knowledge.

  • Exposure to Machine Learning or Generative AI (nice to have, not mandatory).
