Administrator, Senior System Support

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of an Administrator, Senior System Support for a contract position in Columbia, SC. The opportunity will be a year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

          • Install and configure EDI COTS products in the healthcare domain
          • Administer, maintain, and customise EDI COTS applications
          • Collaborate with:
            • Industry partners to develop and refine FHIR interoperability standards
            • Internal systems teams to implement real-world Proof of Concepts
          • Lead and participate in Scrum ceremonies
          • Represent the team in discussions with industry groups and standards bodies


          Qualifications:

          • EDI & Interoperability Standards
            • Strong experience with Healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and interoperability standards
            • Expertise in EDI formats such as:
              • HL7, X12, and FHIR
          • System & Scripting Knowledge
            • Proficient with Linux/Unix systems for installing and configuring EDI COTS products
            • Scripting experience with:
              • Windows Batch, PowerShell, Linux Shell Scripting, and Python
          • Security & Compliance
            • Experience in managing and remediating security findings
          • Cloud
            • AWS Cloud experience (bonus)
          • Project Methodology
            • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
            • Experience running and participating in Scrum meetings
          • Looking for an Application Owner with:
            • Strong domain expertise
            • Proven leadership in EDI and interoperability


          Preferred:

          • Deep knowledge of healthcare EDI interoperability standards (HL7, X12, FHIR)
          • Experience with:
            • Product ownership of EDI COTS products in healthcare
            • Customisation, installation, and maintenance of EDI COTS tools
          • Ability to:
            • Gather requirements and communicate with customers and stakeholders
            • Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for FHIR-based interoperability use cases
          • Strong adaptability to:
            • Changing assignments
            • New technologies and standards
          • Effective team player:
            • Works well with team dynamics, leveraging team strengths and weaknesses
          • Ownership mindset
          • Strong leadership and advocacy for interoperability standards
          • Excellent communication skills with:
            • Technical teams
            • Senior management
            • External stakeholders and partners
