RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Product Manager in Tampa, FL.
Summary:
We are seeking a Data Product Manager - Customer to lead initiatives focused on capturing, structuring, and stewarding customer data across channels. This role is central to enhancing data quality, consistency, and usability, with the potential to scale based on workload and business needs. The ideal candidate will be technically adept, business-savvy, and passionate about connecting data silos to unlock actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Data Stewardship: Own the strategy and execution for capturing and sourcing customer data across stores and online platforms
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data layer developers, analytics teams, and governance stakeholders to ensure data is structured and collected correctly
* Data Quality & Consistency: Identify and resolve gaps in data coverage, especially in the licensee market, and ensure consistency across channels and systems
* Data Opportunity Identification: Link disparate data sources and uncover new opportunities for leveraging customer data to drive business outcomes
* Tool & Platform Integration: Utilize tools such as SQL, Zeta (CDP), and Semarchy (MDM) to manage and analyze data; Collaborate with the Enterprise Data Management team on governance and integration
* Business Use Case Alignment: Understand and translate business needs into data requirements, bridging technical and non-technical teams
* Challenging the Status Quo: Ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and drive innovation in how customer data is used and understood
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in data product management, data analytics, or a related technical role
* Strong understanding of customer data ecosystems and data governance principles
* Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with CDP and MDM platforms (Zeta, Semarchy preferred)
* Ability to work independently in a cross-functional pod structure, outside of traditional scrum teams
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Retail experience is a plus but not required-ability to understand and apply business use cases across industries is key

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
