Client Expectations Summary

The client is looking for a senior-level Data Engineer with strong experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms such as data lakes, data warehouses, and data lakehouse architectures.
The ideal candidate must be able to create efficient and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines, collaborate with stakeholders, and optimize data systems for performance.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery is essential. The candidate should also possess strong Python and SQL skills, along with experience handling large-scale Big Data ecosystems.

Technical Skills

  • Strong SQL expertise

  • Advanced Python programming

  • Proven experience building & maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines

  • Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies

  • Experience designing scalable data platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse)

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery

  • Data modeling, data governance, and pipeline automation

  • Comfortable working with cloud-native data platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
