Position: Workday Financials Integration & Developer/Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term

Job Summary:

We are seeking Workday Financials Integration and Security Developer/Architect to support the implementation of Workday Financials. This Contract role will focus on coordinating with Implementation Partner, designing, developing, and deploying Security and integrations while ensuring a robust security framework. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation, data integrity, and compliance with security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrations:

  • Lead the integration design and development for Workday Financials during the implementation phase.
  • Build and deploy integrations between Workday Financials and external systems (ERP, banks, tax authorities, payroll, procurement, and third-party applications).
  • Utilize Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services (SOAP, REST), and Workday APIs.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and vendors to define data mapping, transformation, and validation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure smooth data migration from legacy systems.
  • Develop Custom Reports
  • BIRT Reporting
  • Review Integrations built by Implementation partner
  • Support UAT

Security & Compliance Strategy:

  • Design and implement Workday security roles, domain security policies, and business process security.
  • Develop a scalable security framework to ensure data integrity and compliance with SOX and industry regulations.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and enforce the best practices for user access controls.
  • Provide guidance on security configurations for Workday Financials modules (Core Financials, Business Assets, Customer Accounts, Supplier Accounts, Banking and Settlement, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation:
  • Work closely with Finance, IT, and implementation partners to align Workday solutions with business requirements.
  • Provide security and integration-related training to internal teams and end-users.
  • Document integration designs, security roles, and implementation decisions for future reference.
  • Stay updated on Workday releases and recommend enhancements post-implementation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Workday Financials, with a focus on integration and security.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, BIRT Reporting.
  • Expertise in Workday security models, role-based access control, domain security, and business process security.
  • Experience in Workday Financials implementation projects
  • Familiarity with financial processes (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Procurement, Banking, etc.).
  • Experience with data transformation tools (XSLT, JSON, XML) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Workday Financials certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional implementation environment.
