Job Details

One of our clients is looking Windows Server Admin Consultant with following skills:

Work Location: 100% On-site in Cayce SC, Monday - Friday.

Candidate Location: Current residences in the Southeast of US only. Must relocate to SC prior to starting the role.

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):

1. Experience with Windows Server administration and support with 3-5 years exp.

2. Strong proficiency in Group Policy (GPO) and PowerShell scripting with 3-5 years exp.

3. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory (on-prem and Azure AD) with 3-5 years exp.

4. Experience with Citrix Presentation Server or XenApp environments.

5. Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery (DR) processes.

6. Advanced knowledge of computer and network hardware, software, and operating systems.

7. Experience with security and data classification standards (CDC, HIPAA, CJIS).

8. Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level system architectures.

9. Advanced knowledge of IT system analysis, design, testing, and maintenance techniques.

Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):

1. Experience with hosted virtual environments and foundational knowledge of Azure virtualization and resource management within a cloud tenant.

2. Experience with Microsoft Intune and Quest KACE for endpoint management, software deployment, and compliance reporting.

3. Experience with Linux Server

4. Strong critical thinking and problem-resolution skills.

5. General understanding of Hitachi Storage (HNAS/HDI) or similar enterprise SAN/NAS environments.

6. Experience with security and data classification standards related to CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS compliance.

7. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with technical teams, customers, and stakeholders.

8. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

9. Ability to align technical solutions with agency goals and objectives and support project delivery.

10. Familiarity with AI-driven automation and predictive analytics for infrastructure optimization and future cloud initiatives.

11. CCNA

Required Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience.

One initial round of Teams video interviews will be scheduled for the top 3 candidates after the close of the posting date. If no candidate is selected a second round of interviews will be conducted.
