Job Title: Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

The Cloud DevOps Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, programming, and implementation of complex applications and projects. The role involves devising logical procedures to resolve business problems using computer resources and ensuring solutions align with business and IT strategies.


Responsibilities:
  • Produce deliverables related to assigned projects and perform analysis, design, programming, and implementation of systems.
  • Evaluate interrelationships in programming areas to determine impacts of changes.
  • Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements.
  • Test modified programs, create test files and data, verify logic, debug, and write documentation.
  • Design and develop IT systems, devise new data sources, and develop new approaches and techniques.
  • Provide guidance to lower-level programmers/analysts and act as an internal consultant.

Required Skills (ANCHOR):
  • Cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Linux/Unix system administration

Preferred Skills (FLEX):
  • Kubernetes
  • Monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Networking concepts and protocols

Certifications:
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (Preferred)

Experience Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering
  • Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
