Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a full review of cybersecurity protocols, tools (e.g., Crowdstrike, Rapid7), policies, and incident management plans.
- Assess current risk posture in the context of regulatory expectations, cyber insurance requirements, and care delivery impact.
- Evaluate the usability and workflow impact of cybersecurity measures on front-line providers.
- Recommend a balanced approach between cybersecurity and provider efficiency.
- Benchmark security practices against similarly sized healthcare organizations.
Qualifications:
- cybersecurity roles with healthcare provider organizations.
- Experience with cybersecurity audits, SIEM/EDR tools, and policy frameworks.
- Strong understanding of physician group IT environments and workflows.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks from a security/integration perspective is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare compliance frameworks.
