Network / System Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network / System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for engineering and delivery of a credential vaulting solution which aligns with the enterprise strategy
• Ensure the solution is fit for purpose by working with stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to meet the enterprise needs for secret management. Works across business and technology teams to create the solution architecture
• Consult the business stakeholders to clearly understand the business requirements, challenges of the solution, and find creative solutions through practical experiments and POCs
• Ensure architecture is flexible, modular, and designed to adapt easily as business needs change
• Utilize industry best practices coupled with your extensive enterprise solution deployment experience to create and sustain best of class secret management services
• Perform design and code reviews to ensure all functional requirements for the solution are sufficiently met (e.g. security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of Information Technology experience
• Demonstrable senior level experience delivering identity and security solutions at scale
• Demonstrated expert level of Linux administration
• Thorough understanding of REST API and json
• Good understanding of agile methodology and associated toolset (Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.)
• Ability to write Ansible playbooks
• Good understanding of infrastructure (hardware, network, storage) at an enterprise scale

Desired skills:

• Previous experience with vaulting products like: CyberArk, Centrify, Thycotic, HashiCorp Vault
• Proficiency in a programming language preferably Python and/or PowerShell

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31
