RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization
- Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it
- Design and develop architecture for data storage solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of data retrieval, data security and performance requirements
- Write high-quality, well-documented code for various components of the data infrastructure, including ETL processes, database management, and data exploration and visualization tools
- Act as a mentor to junior data engineers, providing guidance and support as needed in the design and delivery of solutions
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven enterprise experience in Python
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Advanced command of Linux: adept in service configuration and scripting
- Fundamental understanding of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid database skills: expertise in SQL and relational algebra
- Basic networking knowledge: comprehension of networking fundamentals
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with data manipulation libraries such as pandas
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra
- Practical knowledge in message streaming platforms like Kafka
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
- Hands-on experience in LLM, NLP, MLOps, and RAG
