Job Title: Senior .NET Developer

Location: Melville, NY (3D On-site) Duration: 6+ Months (Contract) Start Date: ASAP
Final round of Interview will be onsite at client location.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with exposure in Microsoft Azure and DevOps practices to join our team for a 6+ month contract opportunity in Melville, NY. This role requires experience in modern .NET development, cloud-native architecture, and CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable .NET applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+.
  • Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs hosted on Azure.
  • Work closely with solution architects and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security across development and production environments.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development using Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Solid experience with Azure Cloud Services, including PaaS and serverless computing.
  • Exposure with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, repos, artifacts, release management).
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, secure coding practices, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React (a plus, not required).
  • Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
