Role: ETL Developer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 8-month contract (with possible extensions)

Job Description

IRG Clients is seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design and build data migration pipelines and an archive system. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with InterSystems Cache, Java, SQL, and Linux/UNIX environments and be able to work independently while collaborating with multiple technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data migration and archival solutions
  • Create ETL scripts using InterSystems Cache and relational databases
  • Provide technical support for applications and infrastructure
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues independently
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams
  • Provide technical input and status updates to the IT Manager

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with InterSystems Cache Database and ETL processes
  • Strong experience with Java and SQL
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Experience with WebSphere Application Server
  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and self-starter mindset

Preferred / Desired Skills

  • Experience with Web Services (HTML, HTTP, XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI)
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Experience with FTP/SFTP/FTPS
  • Strong understanding of technical architecture and infrastructure collaboration
