Immediate need for a talented Python Software Engineer. This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $65 - $68/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support model onboarding and feature implementation on the Google Cloud Platform system.
  • Provide Level 3 (L3) support for the platform and its users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including users, developers, DevOps, and business analysts to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to drive adoption and ensure smooth integration of models.
  • Manage and implement regulatory and security patches, system upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Develop automation and monitoring solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Gain deep understanding of the platform architecture and the models onboarded.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills:Python, SQL, Oracle
  • Advanced Python programming and object-oriented design.
  • Advanced SQL with experience in Oracle, Hive, and HDFS.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and shell scripting (Advanced/Intermediate).
  • Experience with Spark/PySpark and distributed computing frameworks.
  • Prior experience in application or framework development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems and DevOps practices
