Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of business to business and eCommerce experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in user experience design with at least one year acting in a lead role.
  • Experience in FullStory, Figma, Sketch, JIRA, Zeplin, Slack, and other user experience tools.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to explain design frameworks and defend the user experience strategies.

Job Summary

Responsible for working with customers and cross-functional teams to build, execute, and measure best in class user experience across the organization's website, mobile app, and tablet. Focus on ecommerce website, mobile app, and tablets, driving the definition and execution of user experience product plans from vision, requirements, and initial design through market launch and rollout to production

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
  • Designs and conducts usability tests using data-driven methods, analyzing data and communicating findings back to the team.
  • Conducts on-site and field research with end-users to facilitate design and development of web-based and similar software products, including mobile and web console devices. Speaks with end customers and team members in other departments on how to enhance the user experience roadmap. Documents necessary roadmap, execution, measurement, and interviews.
  • Conducts competitor analyses and ties optimal offerings to roadmap. Executes user experience feature roadmap by working with product development team.
  • Creates reports and presentations which highlight results from testing to team members and key stakeholders.
  • Works with usability designers and developers to provide feedback and refine user experiences across the entire product development process.
  • Initiates and oversees the work stream of user experience product features throughout their lifecycle, from strategic definition to end-of-life planning. Works with design, product management, product development and QA teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc.

  • Displays the highest level of critical thinking and analysis in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-departmental problems. Makes prompt, sound decisions when faced with complex and often contradictory alternatives that result in successful outcomes.
  • Operates with considerable latitude. Situations may have little or no precedent requiring original or new concepts or approaches without guidance from others. Reaches decisions under conditions of uncertainty.
  • Develops or engages/directs others in developing innovative solutions to important, highly complex strategic and operating problems; cross-departmental considerations are often present.

Work Environment
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location and/or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 8+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
