Are you ready to take your MES expertise to the next level?

Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to enhance and innovate their Manufacturing Execution System (MES) processes. This role is pivotal in optimizing production efficiency and ensuring seamless operations within the manufacturing domain. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Talent Wave Associates is not able to work with subcontractors at this time and we are not able to provide sponsorship.

  • MES Process Design & Implementation: Lead the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of improvements in MES processes, focusing on Electrode, Assembly, Formation, and Module information.
  • Production System Management: Manage detailed production planning and operations, utilizing MES capabilities to ensure smooth local site operations and provide immediate support during system issues.
  • Manufacturing Process Establishment: Define and guide the creation of efficient manufacturing processes in process, quality, and equipment management.
  • Production Activity Monitoring: Use MES systems to track production performance, aligning activities with set standards and benchmarks.
  • Training & Support: Lead user training sessions and offer ongoing support to team members, promoting continuous learning and system efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting & Prevention: Address manufacturing site issues proactively, troubleshoot system anomalies, and strategize preventative measures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in MES system development or operation.
  • Experience in at least 3 MES system development projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, focusing on MES systems.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing MES systems in the automobile or manufacturing industry.
  • Expertise in database management, specifically with Oracle/SQL Server.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based ERP and Groupware solutions.
  • Knowledge of administrative best practices and process optimization.
  • IT development skills in .NET, C#, JAVA, with a focus on semiconductor/battery manufacturing industries (Preferred).
  • Experience with production/inspection equipment interfacing and PLC/HSMS/TIB communications protocols (Preferred).
  • Understanding of administrative processes and ERP integration (Preferred).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills focused on administrative efficiency and ERP integration (Preferred).
