Job Description

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and development for the process engineering team to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, increase throughput, and ensure product quality.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve production challenges through root cause analysis and effective corrective action planning.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and detailed work instructions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams-such as production, maintenance, quality, and R&D-to support new product development, process scale-up, and commercialization efforts.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies.
  • Assess and introduce new technologies and equipment to improve process capabilities and performance.
  • Track and analyze key process metrics (e.g., yield, cycle time, downtime, scrap rates) and present performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure all processes adhere to applicable safety regulations, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for all process engineering initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong knowledge of process optimization, statistical analysis, and project management.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and engineering tools (AutoCAD)
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies (certification preferred).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred but not necessary).
  • 7+ years of experience in process engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience in Wire and Cable Manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimization, statistical analysis, and project management.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and engineering tools (AutoCAD, Aspen HYSYS, Minitab, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies (certification preferred).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred but not necessary).
