Summary
The Electronics Test Technician will support hardware bring-up, system validation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of new test systems. This role is hands-on and requires strong experience with electronic testing, automated test equipment, and lab instrumentation. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure systems and devices under test (DUTs) meet performance and reliability expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate software interfaces to run and control test equipment during hardware bring-up
Validate system functionality using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, power supplies, and digital multimeters
Own calibration and mechanical setup of thermal chambers and vibration chambers
Troubleshoot, root cause, and document failures related to DUTs, test equipment, and harnesses
Perform electronic modifications including component rework, soldering, and de-soldering
Support commissioning and deployment of new test systems
Execute hands-on tasks using power tools and lab equipment as required
Qualifications & Requirements
Technical degree in electronics or equivalent hands-on experience
Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings, and component datasheets
5+ years of experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or industrial automation systems
Strong experience using power tools and performing circuit board rework
Proficiency with lab instrumentation for electrical testing
Ability to use Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Physical ability to lift and move test equipment and instrumentation
Hands-on, proactive mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
