Location : Seattle WA (Work from T Mobile office)

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce DevOps & Release Manager with deep expertise in Copado to lead our release management strategy and CI/CD automation across the Salesforce ecosystem. This role is essential in ensuring secure, scalable, and repeatable deployments across multiple Salesforce environments in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will own the end-to-end release lifecycle, implement DevOps best practices, and streamline development workflows to support continuous delivery, increased velocity, and platform stability.

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage all aspects of Salesforce DevOps and release activities across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
  • Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Copado, integrated with version control (Git), automated testing, and code quality tools.
  • Establish and enforce deployment governance, change control processes, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage environment strategies including sandbox refreshes, metadata sync, and data seeding to support various release cycles.
  • Collaborate with developers, admins, QA, product managers, and architects to plan and execute releases in alignment with sprint goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Drive adoption of source-driven development using Salesforce DX, Git branching strategies, and metadata management best practices.
  • Administer and optimize Copado configurations, pipelines, and user roles to maximize efficiency and security.
  • Maintain audit trails, documentation, and reporting to meet compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Total of 10+ Years of experience with 5+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, Release Management, or Platform Engineering roles.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Copado, including pipeline configuration, user roles, deployment strategies, and environment management.
  • Strong expertise with Git, version control workflows, and DevOps tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce metadata, environments, deployment artifacts, and change sets.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX, SFDX CLI, and automated deployment strategies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional team settings.
  • Copado Certification (e.g., Copado Fundamentals, Advanced DevOps, Consultant).
  • Salesforce Administrator and/or Platform Developer I Certification.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale Salesforce orgs with multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ).
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Provar, Selenium, Apex tests).
