Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and optimization of high-speed digital systems, ensuring signal integrity and power integrity are maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-speed digital signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis using industry-standard simulation tools.
- Collaborate with design engineers to develop and validate PCB layouts to meet SI and PI requirements.
- Conduct pre- and post-layout analysis to identify and mitigate potential signal and power integrity issues.
- Develop and implement design guidelines and best practices for high-speed digital circuits.
- Analyze and optimize power distribution networks (PDNs) to ensure robust performance under various operating conditions.
- Generate detailed reports and documentation of analysis results and recommendations.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of SI/PI issues in prototype and production hardware.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in signal and power integrity methodologies and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in high-speed digital signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
- Proficiency with SI/PI simulation tools such as Siemens HyperLynx, Ansys SIwave, Cadence Sigrity, , Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, or similar.
- Strong understanding of high-speed digital design principles, including transmission line theory, impedance matching, and crosstalk mitigation.
- Experience with PCB layout tools and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, and SERDES.
- Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) considerations.
- Familiarity with power integrity concepts such as decoupling strategies and PDN impedance profiles.
