Summary

As a Sr Database Developer (MongoDB/PostgresSQL) at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. Your role in our mission

• Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs
• Analyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs
• Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team
• Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise
• Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews
• Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed
• Design system components and delegate responsibilities to team members

What we're looking for

6+ years of experience with design, development, and maintainenance of scalable and high-performance databases using MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

• Ability to create and optimize queries, indexes, views, stored procedures, and triggers
• Ability to migrate data between relational and NoSQL systems
• Work with backend developers to define data access patterns
• 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, PL/pgSQL, performance tuning)
• 2+ years of experience with MongoDB (data modeling, aggregation framework, replication, sharding)
• Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL data modeling techniques
• Knowledge of .Net C#
• Experience with Medicaid Drug Rebate System is a plus

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
