Overview:
We are seeking a PBM Communications Specialist for a leading managed care organization to ensure all pharmacy-related communications are accurate, timely, and compliant. This role requires a unique blend of exceptional writing skills and deep knowledge of pharmacy regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of thousands of communications sent to members and providers, ensuring adherence to all federal and state mandates. You will
Write, review, edit, and approve a high volume of pharmacy-related communications for regulatory compliance and accuracy.
Monitor federal (e.g., CMS) and state regulations to ensure all pharmacy content and communication templates remain current.
Manage the documentation, quality checks, and version control for all regulated pharmacy communications.
Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and business teams to validate communication strategies and mitigate compliance risk.
Required Qualifications:
Must have experience with pharmacy-specific regulatory compliance (e.g., CMS, state rules) from a managed care/health plan perspective.
Exceptional writing, editing, and comprehension skills, with high attention to detail.
Experience managing and auditing regulated content for accuracy and clarity.
Experience in a role requiring cross-functional coordination with legal and compliance teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
A degree in Communications, English, or a related field.
Direct experience with communications related to pharmacy utilization management.
