Job Details

Role: Warehouse Associate

Location: Greenville, South Carolina 29607

Work Mode: Onsite

 

Work Environment:

  • Heated warehouse during winter
  • No air conditioning in summer (warm environment)
  • Air-conditioned storeroom used for order pulling
  • Steel-toe shoes required

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and complete shipments by reading production schedules, customer orders, and work orders.
  • Unload, receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials; verify quantities and check for damage.
  • Sort, label, move, and store goods on racks, shelves, or bins based on product codes or size.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders using paper or electronic pick sheets.
  • Build pallets and transport goods using pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks.
  • Load outbound trucks and secure freight to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
  • Consolidate freight, verify shipping methods, and coordinate oversized loads with carriers.
  • Enter and maintain inventory data in ERP systems; document discrepancies and report issues.
  • Assist with inventory counts and inventory level maintenance.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all warehouse safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred (training provided if needed).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
  • Experience with picking, packing, loading, unloading, and material handling.
  • Forklift, cherry picker, or reach truck experience preferred (certification may be required).
  • Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP systems (SX.e, Prophet 21, Vista, Control, MS Office).
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.


Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or more with assistance) following safety procedures.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and balancing.
  • May be required to pass forklift and/or warehouse equipment certifications.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Overtime or extended hours may be required based on operational needs.
