Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: Onsite Monday-Thursday, WFH Friday)

Schedule/Hours: M-F | 37.5 hours/week

Pay Range: $30-$36.95/hr (Our W2 only)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a J2EE Developer with 2-3 years of experience to support application development, enhancement, and maintenance efforts in a hybrid environment. The successful candidate will be well-versed in J2EE technologies, have a solid understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications (Required & Preferred):
Required:

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field
-
2-3 years of hands-on J2EE development experience
-
Strong experience with Core Java, EJB, JDBC, JMS, Servlets, WebSphere 7.0, RAD 7.5
-
Experience with J2EE frameworks such as smartGWT, iBATIS, Castor
-
Solid Oracle database skills
-
Strong XML processing skills
-
Experience with Web Service technologies and asynchronous communication
-
Background in OOD/OOP, UML diagramming, and design documentation
-
Front-end experience with JavaScript and HTML
-
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and data analysis skills
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
-
Experience with version control tools such as ClearCase
-
Familiarity with JaxWS, SOAP, WSDL
-
Proficiency with MS Office and Visio
-
Self-starter with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Tasks & Responsibilities:
-
Develop and modify enterprise-level Java applications
-
Create and maintain technical documentation and UML designs
-
Participate in application testing, debugging, and performance optimization
-
Collaborate with business and technical teams to implement and enhance services
-
Support web services and asynchronous processing
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems
