Job Description:

Full-stack C#/.NET developer to design, develop, and maintain highly interactive, data-driven web applications focused on the asset management domain (but not limited to it).

This role includes supporting SaaS migration initiatives, integrating investment management solutions, and building scalable applications tailored for financial services.

The ideal candidate possesses deep front-office experience and has supported complex workflows across multi-asset and alternative investment strategies, including public markets, private credit, and structured products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

DEVELOPMENT & ARCHITECTURE

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business process complexity and creatively design, build, integrate platforms to meet evolving needs; proactively engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements.
  • Build and debug full stack applications using C#, .NET, SQL Server and Angular investigating issues to identify and resolve root causes.
  • Implement responsive and scalable UI components using Angular, DevExpress, Bootstrap and similar frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with full stack / backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure efficient data flow and application logic.
  • Optimize application performance to ensure fast load times and seamless user interactions.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards compliance.
  • Build reusable components, contribute to frontend architecture, and design decisions.
  • Collaborate with the broader development team to refine best practices and participate in code reviews.
  • Implement backend testing frameworks like MS Test, Moq etc. to support robust unit testing.
  • Learn Client's business processes and IT best practices to align technical solutions with strategic goals.

PROJECT & TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain high code quality by implementing robust unit tests and collaborating closely with QA teams.
  • Design and lead automated testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, to enhance reliability and accelerate release cycles.
  • Stay organized and accountable by regularly updating Azure Boards and tracking progress on deliverables.
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & COMMUNICATION
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Engage proactively by asking thoughtful questions to clarify requirements and understand business needs.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and industry best practices to inform decision-making.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance team processes, tools, and overall efficiency.
  • Contribute to data governance efforts by defining and promoting policies, standards, and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, finance, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

  • Over 8 years of professional experience in software development and architecture.
  • Deep expertise in the .NET technology stack, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, and Dapper.
  • Proficient in building scalable services using REST / SOAP.
  • SQL Server database experience, covering database design, development (DDL/DML), stored procedures, views, functions, indexes, dynamic SQL, performance tuning, and debugging.
  • Strong background in writing high-performance business logic using C# and SQL.
  • Experienced in developing custom greenfield solutions from the ground up.
  • Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks, including Angular, DevExpress, and other UI component libraries.
  • Solid understanding of integration services, reporting platforms, and workflow automation tools.
  • Familiar with performance optimization techniques for data-intensive applications.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Knowledge of C#, .NET Core, and .NET-based backend services.

Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, XML /JSON, REST API.

JavaScript Libraries / Frameworks: Angular, jQuery.

IDEs: Microsoft Visual Studio.

Database: Microsoft SQL Server.

Version Control: GIT, CI/CD pipelines.

Familiar with Azure DevOps/Boards and Agile development methodologies.

DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience working in hedge funds, private markets, or multi-asset strategy firms, with a strong understanding of financial operations and investment workflows.
  • Familiar with credit-focused asset management, including compliance requirements and operational processes.
