This is how you'll spend your day:
  • Conduct data engineering and analysis tasks to meet business requirements and maximize effectiveness.
  • Develop understanding of technical aspects of data management functions including creating, cleansing, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data.
  • Collaborate with teammates and business partners to build technical solutions that are reusable, scalable, fast, and maintainable.
  • Work independently during the development and/or troubleshooting of new or enhanced reports/applications. Know when to bring others in.
  • Focus on growing as an engineer. Learn existing tools, resources and processes.
  • Work with multiple development technologies with a strong focus on SQL.
  • Build holistic understanding of applications & underlying data being supported.
  • Identify impacts of changes and help facilitate prioritization.
  • Recognize potential process improvement opportunities.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years related work experience or a Master's in a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands on experience working with SQL is required.
  • Knowledge and direct experience using business intelligence reporting tools.
  • Planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication (Verbal and Written), Embrace and understand change processes, Issue/Escalation management, Negotiation/Decision making skills.

Additional preferred technical experience:

  • Reporting tool knowledge: PowerBI, Business Objects and/or with NLP/NLQ functionality.
  • Experience with Relational Databases, DB2 Mainframe and/or Snowflake.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range

$67500 - $147600 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
