Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join a trailblazing global leader in sustainable energy solutions. This is an exciting new position as part of their recent US expansion - the role will help steer US cybersecurity direction and strategy.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize security tools such as SIEM, antivirus, DLP, and identity management systems.
  • Proactively monitor for suspicious activities and analyze logs to detect potential threats.
  • Collaborate with Managed Security Service Providers to investigate security incidents.
  • Lead regular vulnerability assessments, security scans, and penetration testing efforts.
  • Investigate and resolve security incidents, implementing containment, eradication, and recovery strategies.
  • Improve and optimize security procedures across networks, devices, and applications.
  • Assist in the development of security policies and standards.
  • Conduct proactive threat hunting, analyzing system anomalies, network traffic, and user behaviors for early detection of risks.
  • Stay updated with emerging threats through continuous monitoring of threat intelligence sources.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT security operations, cybersecurity analysis, or a related role.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
  • Strong experience managing SIEM, antivirus, DLP, and identity management platforms.
  • Proven expertise in incident response, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10, NIST).
  • Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, network security, and cloud security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for identifying risks.
