Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Location: Atlanta, GA (on-site, near Perimeter Mall)

We re looking for a numbers-savvy, tech-forward Senior Accountant to join a mission-driven team that s redefining financial insight and analytics in professional services. This isn t your typical heads-down accounting role it s equal parts financial ownership and strategic problem-solving, with plenty of mentorship and upward mobility.

In this highly visible role, you ll report directly to both the CFO and Controller and serve as a key player in everything from day-to-day accounting to big-picture data analytics. What You ll Do:

• Own core accounting functions: A/P, A/R, payroll, reconciliations, financial reporting, credit card processing, budgeting, and forecasting
• Build dashboards, write queries, and turn raw data into clear, actionable reporting for internal teams and external clients
• Work cross-functionally to support audits, compliance, and financial analysis projects
• Train and review the work of junior accounting staff
• Partner with senior leadership on operational strategy, analytics, and forecasting
• Learn from and be mentored directly by the CFO and Controller both highly invested in your development

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to both financial operations and reporting
• Progress toward CPA certification or a strong desire to pursue it
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas; VBA/macros a plus training available)
• Familiarity with systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Power BI (or willingness to learn)
• Curiosity and commitment to learning SQL, Python, cybersecurity, and the analytics side of finance
• Excellent communication skills and a knack for client-facing dashboards and reports
• A proactive mindset you don t just check boxes; you solve problems and make processes better

This is a full-time onsite role in Dunwoody (5 days/week), with hybrid potential in the future. You ll be working just blocks from Perimeter Mall and directly alongside company leadership in a culture built on mentorship, integrity, and long-term growth.
