Engineering Project Manager

Job Summary:

Ensure planning for, and efficient use of, engineering resources

Monitor and facilitate timely delivery of project deliverables

Calibrate deliverables to an appropriate level required by Industrial Ally standards and project needs

Manage client, supplier, and subcontractor expectations and coordination

Develop, interpret, and maintain effort hour metrics

Responsibilities:
  • Management
    1. Ensure timeliness of Project Kick Off Meetings, SMACCTM reviews, Project Close Out Meetings, and Project Reporting
    2. Collaborate and support weekly resource planning
    3. Engineering project scope management
    4. Cost forecasting
    5. Facilitate effective communication and information exchange between the project team (including owner, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors)
  • Engineering
    1. Develop engineering estimates and proposals
    2. Support and execute conceptual, preliminary, and detail engineering
    3. Develop project capital cost estimates
  • Communication/Collaboration
    1. Excellent communication skills
    2. Highly organized and detail oriented
    3. Positive attitude

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Management
  • Experience: Five plus years' experience in engineering, preferably related to construction or heavy industrial
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using software to:
    • Develop project schedules and track progress against milestones and deadlines.
    • Develop project budgets and track status.
    • Manage project meeting notes and follow-up lists.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm.
  • Initiative: Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward.

Location: Chesterfield, MO

Travel: Minimal (less than 5%)

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
