We are looking for an energetic Quality Engineer whose primary focus includes, but is not limited to, product quality as it relates to Assembly, Inspection, and Test of printed circuit assemblies while ensuring we meet customer expectations for delivering a quality product. Able to positively own and influence the Quality component of Cost, Quality, and Schedule. Be able to act as an active learner and teacher, subject dependent. Able to work well and maintain a positive attitude in a team environment. Able to manage multiple projects, multiple deadlines, and prioritize work appropriately to meet commitments. Able to own manufacturing processes if the opportunity arises.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Able to pull data from multiple systems to assess trends (Yield Data, Pareto of Defects data, Defects per Unit data) and use these tools to drive Continuous Improvement.
  • Able to lead Root Cause and Corrective Action events using DMAIC, Kepner Tregoe, Ishikawa Diagramming, 5 Why Analysis techniques or equivalent.
  • Successful history with leading investigation of day-to-day production issues with a production team.
  • Successful interfacing with team members with varying responsibilities working towards commons goals.
  • Exhibit sound interpersonal skills to impart positive leadership to promote an active learning environment.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office to be productive in the work environment using such tools as Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Visio, etc.
  • Ability to review product related documentation (Product Drawings, BOMs, Manufacturing Control Specification, Assembly Processes)
  • Technically sound and knowledgeable with J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with Circuit Card Assembly manufacturing
  • Experience with soldering, adhesives, conformal coat, and the chemical and electrical properties that correspond.
  • Ability to perform First Article Inspections for electrical and mechanical assemblies per AS9102.
  • Ability to generate PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP registrations as our business embraces these Quality Management System techniques.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $83900 - $142600

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
