Kforce has a client that is seeking a UAT Tester in Maryland Heights, MO.

Summary:
This role supports the delivery of end-to-end testing for integrated products that span multiple technology platforms, including voice, internet, and cable. The UAT Tester ensures new products and enhancements are fully validated from both the agent and customer perspective - focusing on functionality, usability, and operational impact. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who is inquisitive, technically conversant, and able to assess the business impact of defects and process issues.

Responsibilities:
* Support end-to-end production and pre-production testing to identify operational impact and success for various programs impacting Order Entry, Provisioning, Activation, Outage Management, and Digital Experience platforms
* Execute true User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from the lens of agents and customers - not API or automated testing
* Identify, document, and analyze defects and their operational/business impact (-X defect will cause Y impact to Z process-)
* Develop and maintain detailed test plans, cases, and execution strategies that consider operational and logistical needs
* Collaborate with business partners, project managers, and technical teams to ensure technology solutions align with business requirements
* Independently determine test scope, coordinate test cycles, and communicate outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders
* Create, manage, and triage defects; work with engineers to troubleshoot and validate resolutions
* Provide detailed reporting of test progress, defects, and readiness using tools such as Octane, TestRail, Jira, and SQL
* Deliver findings and insights to process and training teams to help inform updated operational materials and training documentation
* Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance the agent and customer experience

REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience
* Experience with Octane or TestRail
* Basic SQL knowledge
* Strong communication and analytical skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Visio and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Nice to Have:
* Basic Splunk experience (searching logs, reviewing sessions, etc.)
* Previous telecom or cable industry testing experience
* Billing system experience, particularly with CSG
