Job Overview:
The Senior Systems Analyst will play a critical role in supporting upcoming projects for the IT Generation team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in all aspects of the Systems Analyst role. This position requires a solid understanding of modern computing technologies and the ability to translate business needs into system specifications. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal business partners, IT personnel, and external service providers to develop innovative processes, including those related to renewable energy initiatives such as wind energy.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a consultant to internal business partners regarding technology and process solutions.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of viable technology solutions by collaborating with teammates, IT groups, external service providers, and business partners.
  • Provide guidance on available technologies to address complex requirements.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to implement new systems and modify existing systems.
  • Lead and facilitate requirements workshops.
  • Analyze, document, and deconstruct systems, problems, processes, and business needs.
  • Define business requirements and test cases using structured methodologies.
  • Document business requirements, test cases, use cases, and design thinking exercises.
  • Provide written and verbal updates on projects and solutions to IT and business management.
  • Develop and deliver training on new or revised system functionality to educate users and support personnel.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Analyst.
  • Prior experience with vendor implementations and developing specifications from business requirements.
  • Ability to write scripts and understanding of .NET technologies.
  • Structured and methodical approach to system requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, documentation, and testing.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED/Equivalency.
  • Experience in IT, business/technology consulting, or utility business groups is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the power industry and interest in renewable energy sources is a plus.

Pay Range: $45 - $52

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
