Job Title: Mainframe QA Analyst
Location: Morris Plains , NJ (ONSITE)
Type : Contract to Hire
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality and functionality of mainframe and web applications.
- Design and execute test cases, analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance.
- Develop detailed test cases and test data based on requirements, conduct manual testing focusing on functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Execute test cases on mainframe environments and validate data accuracy in DB2.
- Log, track the defects and perform Root cause analysis of the defect.
- Collaborate with cross functional team
- Prepare and present the test results and metrics.
Skills and Experience Required:
Required:
- 3 -5 years of experience in QA testing
- Experience in working with large data sets, data validation and SQL queries
- Knowledge of test management tools - JIRA
- Work experience with Agile methodologies and scrum framework
- Good Analytical skills and attitude to learn new skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
Desired:
- Familiarity with mainframe testing tools and Automation testing
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
