Job Details

Title: Azure Enterprise Architect

Duration: 12 Months(Extendable)

Location: Remote

The candidate will be working with an existing software development team to develop a new platform. The Enterprise Architect will work across Application Development, Service Delivery and Infrastructure to identify, research, discuss, design, and implement key enterprise architecture standards. Other responsibilities include: Research, design, document, build, and pilot prioritized topics for standards and work with the application development management to prioritize efforts. Work closely with Development, Infrastructure, and Service Delivery teams and lead key enterprise architectural design projects as necessary.
Required Skills:

  • 5 8 years experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions on Microsoft Azure
  • Strong grasp of cloud-native architecture, hybrid cloud strategies, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, and Identity services.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance and other Azure database services.
  • Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service and containerization (Docker, Helm, etc.)
  • Proven ability to lead cloud strategy and roadmap discussions with enterprise stakeholders.
  • Understanding of cloud governance, cost management, and security best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps or GitHub actions.
  • Competent with PowerShell, Bicep, and Terraform for Azure automation and provisioning.
  • Strong grasp of Zero Trust Architecture, RBAC, Azure AD, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, NIST).
  • Ability to design and review secure architectures at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
