ServiceNow Developer

Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer for a contract position based in Battle Creek Creek, MI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and integrations and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on integration with external systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party tools using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
  • Create and manage workflows, business rules, UI policies, data imports, and scripts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality and integrations.
  • Follow ServiceNow best practices and ensure platform performance and scalability.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Strong experience in ServiceNow integration using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • IRM (Information Risk Management): Develop and implement IRM workflows, manage risk assessments, and create reporting and dashboards for risk analysis.
  • SAM (Software Asset Management): Manage software licenses, track software usage, and ensure compliance with licensing agreements. This includes tasks like software discovery, license optimization, and vendor management
  • HAM (Hardware Asset Management): Track hardware assets, manage their lifecycle from procurement to disposal, and ensure efficient asset management. This includes tasks like hardware inventory, warranty tracking, and asset depreciation.
  • Experience working with ITSM, CMDB, Incident, Change, Problem Management modules.
  • Good understanding of JavaScript, Glide API, and scripting in ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, MID Server, and web services.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, CAD).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to other platforms or tools integrated with ServiceNow (e.g., Salesforce, Jira, SAP, etc.).
