Job Details

Role: ServiceNow Engineer Location: Westlake, TX (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Work Hours: 8am 5pm CST

Note: Candidates must have hands-on experience implementing the ServiceNow ITOM Event Management module.

Key Skills Required:

  • Application and implementation experience with ServiceNow ITOM Event Management module
  • Integration Connectors (OOTB and Custom), Event/Alert/Correlation rule creation, Notifications
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM stack and strong understanding of ITSM frameworks
  • JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
  • Additional language knowledge: JavaScript, PowerShell, HTML, JSON, CSS, AJAX

Role Overview:

Seeking a ServiceNow Software Engineer to join a modernization-focused team responsible for onboarding to an enterprise Event Management framework. You will work directly on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on enterprise integrations and enhancements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Configuring and connecting ServiceNow ITOM Event Management module
  • Applying OOTB Event Connectors, integrating with CMDB and Service Mapping
  • Collaborating in a fast-paced environment with multiple enterprise systems
  • Supporting agile development cycles and participating in team ceremonies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow software development
  • Proven experience with multiple ServiceNow modules: ITOM Event Management, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Portal, CSDM, CMDB, etc.
  • Experience working with MID Servers and Discovery
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to guide and mentor junior developers
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving and communication skills
