JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and cleared DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in designing and implementing information management systems, with a strong background in technical research and product development within a DevOps framework. This position requires an individual with an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, IAT Level II Certification, and a solid understanding of commercial cloud service providers, containerization, server-less architecture, and RESTful API design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement secure and efficient information management systems.
Conduct technical research and development to drive innovation within the infrastructure.
Lead product development efforts, including oversight of subordinate developers on web-based and data-intensive systems.
Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment.
Utilize automated deployment and testing frameworks to ensure high reliability and security standards.
Work with commercial cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure) to implement containerized, server-less, and micro-services architectures.
Design and manage RESTful API integrations.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered

Must hold Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Must be Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certified
10 years experience designing and implementing information management systems.
3 years within the past 5 years of experience in technical research and development that enables continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
3 years within the past 5 years of demonstrated experience in product development, to include direct control and responsibility over subordinate developers working the development of a web-based, as well as data intensive system.
3 years within the past 5 years of experience with provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevOps and/or continuous delivery environment using automated deployment and testing frameworks.
3 years within the past 5 years of experience with commercial cloud service providers (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure), containers, server-less architecture, micro-services, web services, and RESTful API design
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics or 15 years experience in designing and implementing information management systems may substitute for academic degree.
