Salesforce Security Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Security Architect with proven expertise implementing Salesforce Security Center and Salesforce Shield in large enterprise environments. This role will be responsible for defining security architecture, designing governance frameworks through the effective deployment of Shield and Security Center capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce security implementation experience, understands enterprise-scale compliance needs, and can act as both a strategic advisor and technical leader to business and IT stakeholders.

  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about 85-95/HR

What You ll Do:

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Security Center and Shield (Event Monitoring, Platform Encryption, Field Audit Trail).
  • Develop enterprise-wide governance frameworks for data security, user monitoring, and compliance reporting.
  • Advise on Platform Encryption strategy, including BYOK key management and integration with enterprise key vaults.
  • Provide architectural oversight for Salesforce admins/developers configuring policies, logging, and event monitoring.
  • Establish best practices, standards, and training for ongoing Shield and Security Center operations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (CISO, IT Security, Salesforce COE, Legal/Compliance) to define long-term security roadmap.


Required Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience implementing Salesforce Shield & Security Center in enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise in Event Monitoring, Field Audit Trail, and Platform Encryption.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, API integrations, and system security architecture.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce logs and monitoring into SIEM/DLP platforms.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX, FDA/GxP, FedRAMP, etc.).
  • Strong background in identity and access management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, and SCIM.
  • Proven ability to design enterprise-scale Salesforce security architectures and enforce governance.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
